I bought the original iPad when I realised how it was a brilliant adjunct to my photography. Upgraded to iPad 3, when it finally got a half decent camera. I am now on Air 2. I would love a large Pro but I am still working on how to smuggle it past my wife.
Here are some of the joys I have experienced and thought I would share with you.

IOS 5.0.1 No Problems
Last night I updated both my iPad and iPhone direct, no Mac. Worked 1st time, very quick.
Took longer to figure out that to get the advanced Gestures to work requires you to activate them in Settings - General.
